Founded in 2015 on a quiet idea
Dealfindjoy opened its doors in Queenstown with a single belief: that true luxury is unhurried and deeply personal. The hotel was designed around the materials and moods of the Southern Alps: schist stone, native rimu, wool and brass, bathed in the changing light of Lake Wakatipu.
Over eleven years, the property has become a private address for travellers who want the energy of Queenstown and the calm of an alpine lodge in one place. Our team is small by design, so every guest is known by name.
A casino-inspired lounge, not a casino
The Salon borrows the ritual and elegance of classic casino lounges — soft felt, brass lamps, polished cards — but strips away everything else. There is no cash on the tables, no bets, no online play. It is a social room for hotel guests: conversation, tastings and the slow pace of an evening well spent.
